Two AAPI Women Take Top Honors

Congratulations to AAPI Board Member Millie Yan and AAPI Leader, Dr. Jane Skaife for being honored at the 2024 Placer County Women’s History Luncheon! They were two of six local women who were celebrated for their amazing achievements in leading change for social justice in the region.

More than 80 people gathered at the Community Center at Johnson Springview on March 16th to hear former State Controller Betty Yee rock the house with her inspirational words of encouragement to women in leadership. The event, spear-headed by Diana Madoshi and her wonderful team, hosted a beautiful catered lunch with proceeds designated to support seeMYchild.
